Located south of Stockton. The Ghirardelli Chocolate Outlet and Ice Cream Shop really sits on its own near industrial buildings and farmland. Upon entering the building, you will see a good amount of chocolate around ready for purchase. In the middle, you will see the ordering area for ice cream as well as the parlor itself. There a good selection of sundaes and ice cream flavors. The ice cream itself is Dryer’s, but any chocolate or other syrups are from Ghirardelli. Today, I had one of their sundaes, but I do not remember the name of it. The whipped cream was very fluffy, and the chocolate syrup was delicious. There was a brownie on the bottom that was quite chocolately as well. The ice cream was tasty, but it wasn’t anything special. Overall, the sundae tasted good, but the portion size was quite small for the price paid. If I had a choice to come here again, I wouldn’t unless I needed to buy chocolate from them.
