On this visit to Las Vegas, we had to go and eat at Hash House A Go Go again, but this time off the strip. This location was actually quite a bit farther than expected, but there was still a long wait time. With such a long wait so far from the strip, you can definitely tell that the locals know what’s good to eat. After a 30 minute wait or so, our party was finally seated. The server was nice, but quite busy with all the tables.
Today, we ordered the fresh-squeezed orange juice as well as Andy’s Sage Fried Chicken Benedict. The orange juice definitely tasted fresh and was filled with flavor with each sip. When Andy’s Sage Fried Chicken Benedict arrived, we were shocked at how much food there was on the plate. The entirety of the plate was smothered over by the chipotle cream over the biscuits and mashed potatoes. The chicken was was tender and stayed crispy and flavorful atop the dish.
Overall, Hash House A Go Go serves up large plates of delicious food at reasonable prices. Service is pretty good considering how busy the restaurant was that day. There are still many items on the menu that I want to try next time as well. If you are looking for crazy brunch food, head to Hash House A Go Go.
