Bachi Burger – Las Vegas

470 East Windmill Lane #100

Las Vegas, NV 89123

Rating: ★★★★★

Located many miles away from the strip, Bachi Burger serves up delicious burgers and other food items and was featured on the Food Network. The burgers include an eclectic selection of ingredients and styles. Wagyu beef is also available for any burger.

Today, we ordered the Banh-Mi burger, Black and Green Wagyu burger, and salt and pepper fries. The Banh-Mi burger tasted a lot like a Banh-Mi sandwich that included the pork pate except with a beef patty but no cheese. The Angus beef tasted juicy and the burger as a whole tasted delicious. The Black and Green burger included a juicy delicious amazing flavorful Wagyu beef patty. The bacon and spinach greens went well with the sandwich. The fries tasted amazing with the provided aioli dip. Each flavor of fries comes with its own complementary aioli dip.

Overall, if you can make if off the strip, and I mean really off the strip, you need to try out Bachi Burger. You will not be disappointed with the burger you order. The servers provide good informative service. You will leave happy!

Bacchanal Buffet – Caesars Palace – Las Vegas

3570 Las Vegas Blvd S
Las Vegas, NV 89109

Rating: ★★★★★

Caesars Palace upgraded their buffet last year in a $17 million renovation. Located in the rear of the casino, the Bacchanal buffet features modern glass design across a large expanse of various types of seating arrangements and a long winding buffet line. Priced at $31.99 for a weekday lunch with a Total Rewards Card, the Bacchanal Buffet serves up a delicious meal at a fairly hefty price tag.

Just 53 minutes after lunch began, the line for the buffet was pretty long, filling up half of the line space. Even after you pay, the queue to be seated was another 10 groups of people. After the meal, the line was three times as long and stretched outside the building.

The Bacchanal Buffet serves up a variety of cuisines including Chinese, Chinese Dim Sum, Freshly cooked noodle soup, sushi, Chinese BBQ, Freshly cooked pasta, Freshly cooked Mexican fajitas, artisan breads, American, large carving station, Seafood, freshly squeezed fruit juice, and extremely extensive deserts.

Some highlights of the buffet include the Chinese food because the food actually tastes like it came from a Chinese restaurant! The beef from the broccoli beef was extremely tender and of high quality. The dim sum selection was pretty good and had great tasting Sui Mai and Har Gow. I also liked the large quantities of roast duck and BBQ pork. I liked how there was a large selection of items at the carving station that included 3 different types of sausages, bacon, turkey, beef brisket, and turkey. The Bacchanal Buffet serves up various types of fries in fry baskets that conveniently serves up fries in a whimsical fashion. The sushi offerings were a bit sparse, but they did taste good. A highlight of the buffet would be the wagyu beef sliders with cheddar cheese. The beef was extremely juicy and tasted of very high quality meat. The apple strudel tasted fresh and was full of flavor. There were quite a few choices for ice cream that ranged from vanilla to watermelon mint. The fresh melon, tropical, and orange juices were amazing! We were not disappointed with any particular food dish.

Overall, Bacchanal Buffet was worth every expensive penny. All of the dishes tasted fresh and delicious. No matter what your tastes are, Bacchanal buffet will have something that you want to eat. If you do plan on visiting, make sure you bring your Total Rewards club card for a small discount. I also suggest you go at the beginning of each meal period to avoid extremely long lines. After getting your table, expect to be amazed! This buffet truly rivals the buffet at the Wynn.

Monte Carlo Cafe – Las Vegas

3770 Las Vegas Blvd S
Las Vegas, NV 89109

Rating: ★★★½☆

The cafe is located in the middle of the casino across from some table games and next to their expensive steakhouse. Even on a Saturday evening, the cafe was quite empty in a drastic comparison to the cafe at Thunder Valley. We were seated quickly in a friendly manner. Our server was very knowledgeable and nice. She always came back to check on the table.

Today, we ordered soda that appeared in fancy cups, Chicken Parmesan, Prime Rib, and strawberry shortcake. The Chicken Parmesan was very saucy. The pasta was cooked well and the chicken tasted juicy. Unfortunately, BJ’s Chicken Parmigiana still comes out as a more flavorful dish. The Prime Rib was pretty good. The dish came with Chinese broccoli and fries. The meat was cooked good, but was not as tender as Red Hawk’s prime rib at the buffet. The strawberry shortcake was of a good portion size and had great flavor.

Overall, the meal experience was great. The food did taste pretty good, but both main courses could of had more flavor. Monte Carlo did offer a $50 dining credit on MyVegas off of Facebook if you wanted to get a free meal. If you are staying at the Monte Carlo, the Cafe is actually a decent quiet option.

Earl of Sandwich – Las Vegas – Part 3

3667 South Las Vegas Boulevard

Las Vegas, NV 89109

Rating: ★★★★★

I know that I have reviewed Earl of Sandwich twice already, but I could not help myself from verifying their quality. Today, I ordered the tuna melt and the chipotle chicken. The tuna melt mirrored the delicious flavor from previous visits. The chipotle chicken had a flavorful spread and fresh juicy chicken.

Overall, Earl of Sandwich is still the food option of choice in the Planet Hollywood area. If you come to Vegas and never tried Earl of Sandwich, you must give them a shot.

D’Amore’s Famous Pizza – Las Vegas

3663 Las Vegas Blvd
Las Vegas, NV 89109

Rating: ★½☆☆☆

D’Amore’s Famous Pizza is located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Casino. The restaurant is located in the back of the mall near the V-Theater. Available pizza slices are displayed behind a glass barrier. The pizza is of the extremely thin crust variety.

Today, I ordered a slice of meat lover’s pizza. After ordering, the pizza slice is placed back into the oven for re-heating. The pizza did not have much flavor, and the crust was extremely thin. Moreover, the price for the slice was around $6.50.

Overall, if you are hungry in the Miracle Mile shops, please do yourself a favor and avoid this pizza restaurant. You will enjoy a much better meal at Earl of Sandwich.
